School of Food and Biological Engineering
*School of Food and Biological Engineering (SFBE) is traced back to former Food Engineering Department in 1984 when Northwest Institute of Light Industry was in Xianyang. The department was renamed as School of Life Science and Engineering in 2002,and the current name was given in 2015. SFBE consists of three departments: Department of Food Science and Engineering, Department of Biological Engineering and Department of Pharmacy.
